Bandon’s Cranberry Festival Display

Beginning September 1, the museum will feature it’s usual Cranberry Festival displays of past Cranberry Princess’ dresses and pictures from past Cranberry Festivals as well as other Cranberry Festival memorabilia.

September 25

The Great Bandon Fire anniversary - This will be the 75th anniversary of Bandon’s great fire of 1936. The museum will host an open house with refreshments from 1 - 4 PM. Presentations and discussion will begin at 1PM.

October 22

Stories from the Cemetery - Jim Proehl will tell stories about people buried in the Averill and GAR cemeteries. The cemetery is a good jumping off point for sharing stories about local history. Program begins at 2PM.  Admission is free.

November 12

Veteran’s Day Display and talks

The museum will host an open house for Veteran’s Day from 1 - 3 PM.

Come for the Citywide Celebration Day at the museum featuring 10% off everything at the gift shop, special sale items, and refreshments. See the Christmas Village setup on display until December 23.
